Sorry I missed you this weekend, I was in a foul mood on friday (I know, right?) and then I was too chilled out to move for the rest of the weekend. MY BAD.

Death Grips – Full Moon (Death Classic)

Travis Barker’s solo debut album “Give the Drummer Some” came out this week, and it’s an excellent, star-studded affair. The bulk of the record is hiphop with Barker on drums, and the likes of Raekwon, Kid Cudi and Yelawolf on the mic, but there’s a bonus track on the deluxe edition that features Steve Aoki going harrrrrddddddddd. The Barker-Aoki collabo, called Misfits, is super heavy on a level that seems to channel a bit of Aoki’s hardcore Rifoki project.

Think Death Crew 77 with Travis Barker going beast on drums. Next-level ish.
