A few years after highschool, it’s easy to forget that hard punk bands used to sound like Minor Threat and Bad Brains. Brooklyn’s Cerebral Ballzy is a high-energy, high-attitude echo of an almost bygone era. Their new video On The Run faithfully captures the late 80s/early 90s punk video aesthetic, down to the videotape tracking and the 2 minute runtime. In 2011, this oldschool slam sound is increasingly rare, and more than welcome.
