DANCE OF THE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

by on Oct.29, 2010

IT’S HALLOWEEN WEEKEND, YOU WITCHEZZZZ. Don’t be SCARED by this GHOULISH mix of bangers. That’s actually a bit misleading; there’s nothing really scary about these jams other than how HOT THEY ARE. I just wanted to say some Halloween words because it’s fun to sound like an idiot sometimes.

HAVE YOU HEARD THIS ONE?

Okay so, a Polish guy walks into a bar. He sets up his DJ equipment and destroys the dancefloor.

That’s the jooooooke. I’m talking about The Polish Ambassador, whose latest album “First Words” just dropped online. It’s a massive 2 disc cosmic event, and you can listen to the whole thing on his Bandcamp.

Maybe you should buy it, you should probably buy it…

DELICIOUS TREATS

Since it’s Halloween, that means it’s been 2 years since I had a damn vacation. I was in London for Halloween 2008, and I had the joy of seeing DJ Pdex open for Enter Shikari at the down-destroyed Astoria 2 in London. He’s got a new mixtape out called “Colours In Sound” that just came out last night. Not to be confused with his debut EP, which was also called Colours in Sound, the mixtape is available for free listening and download on his Soundcloud page.

That reminds me, Inspector Dubplate put out a new mix on Borgore’s Soundcloud too.

Inspector Dubplate – Guess I Got My Channel Back , Exclusive Buygore.com Mix ! by Buygore

Guess I Got My Channel Back sounds about the way you’d expect it to, but I’m generally down for posting anything that drops Excision & Datsik’s Swagga. Excision and Borgore are both in Vancouver in November, both in the same week! What is a boy to do?

THE SKANKIEST!!

by on Apr.11, 2010

Happy Sunday, everyone! Let’s all enjoy some filth.
Dayn – Stomp

Here’s a tuuuuuuuune from Dayn, a swedish dubstep producer that’s making some big sounds. Check him out on myspace because he doesn’t have a proper website I guess.

Excision & Datsik – Swagga (Downlink Remix)

This remix by Downlink is disgustinnggggggg, it’s like eating a hotdog that you just found. For breakfast.
Oh, and it turns out Datsik is from right here in BC and I didn’t even know it! He’s from Kelowna, and he’s playing a show at Element here in Victoria on May 26. It’s gonna be gross; I got my ticket and it’s printed on a square of dead skin. Big ups to Sub|Division for the heads up, and for putting it on.

Passion Pit – Sleepyhead (Borgore Remix)

Everyone and their dog has had a go at remixing Passion Pit‘s awesome banger Sleepyhead, so it’s easy to miss a really good one when it comes out. Borgore comes correct with his signature sound on this one.

Burma – Rocka

How about one more? This is off a really good Finnish DnB/Dubstep compilation released by Large Amount of Soul.
This unofficial video is ridiculous and great, though probably bad news if you’re one of those photosensitive seizure types…

THAT’S GROSS!!!!!!!!!!

by on Feb.19, 2010

Borgore is an Israeli dubstep producer from Tel Aviv who is positively FILTHY.  He’s also a drummer in a metal band, and that influence definitely shows in his electronic work. His beats are so dirty that he calls it “gorestep”.

This  is Borgore – Guided Relaxation Dub. Do not listen if you’re not near a shower.

Utterly muddy chune, that. I apologize. As soon as I heard the drop in, I knew this song was going to be an ordeal, but somehow it gets even dirtier shortly thereafter.

That’ll have to do it for now, I’m off to Vancouver this weekend to get a gold medal in partying with Team Australia (Bankai) and Team USA (Bearbot)!
